This was a story about how two former best friends get past the awkwardness of their feelings deepening into love. It takes them a while to finally face up to the truth, but they have a great community of friends and family around them who nudge them in the right direction.

I read this story and I wondered how two 40year old could take so long to get together they had had a wonderful childhood yet for a while couldn't really communicate though they knew each other so well.

If you're looking for a heartwarming story with swoon-worthy kisses and tender moments, look no further! I loved this friends to lovers romance. With its good pace, dialogue, and plot, I kept turning the page until I was done. I definitely want to read about CEO Eric now...

Heartfelt

Sweet and heartfelt. Lucas, was way too patient, and Brittney was way too soft hearted. They prolonged their own happiness. Grams, was in their business way too much. But it was nice to see God play such a major part in their story.

Book review

This was an interesting story with Lucas and Brittany. I was glad when he told Brittany she needed to grow up because she had taken her sympathy for other’s relationships to the extreme. I would have loved seeing Brittany move to Colorado with Lucas since his grandmother already had a support system
