About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Elizabeth Johns was first an avid reader, though she was a reluctant convert. Good suspense nice love story nice to read a book where it's not built around sex and more about the characters and the tail a don't he road to love

This book had very likeable characters. They storyline was pretty good - nothing outstanding, but enough to be engaging. My biggest problem was that the author tended to make sweeping statements rather than “show” the reader something. There were also several instances where the thought or chapter was abruptly ended - like the author was tired and just wanted to wrap up the scene quickly.Also note that this is not the first book in the series as Amazon states. It is the second. Fortunately you do not have to read the previous story about a lord Vernon to understand what is going on. But the back cover has the description of the first book in the series. Really threw me off at first.
