What?! What!!!

COTDC Book 7What?! What? Really?!This was a really enjoyable entry into the Circus Chronicles. Wow.Just when the thing you’re waiting for (almost) happens, that’s when the rug is pulled out.This might be my favorite one yet. A good mystery, an interesting monster, and what the heck cliffhanger. I’m a little upset I only have one more left to read right now. (The rest of the books are coming, I just done have them yet. *Sigh*)On to the next!

Juliette now faces three new deaths which appeared natural at the start but after investigating she discovers they were caused by some supernatural creature

Worst in the series

This one had a lot of issues. The pacing was painfully slow. Most of the time spent in her head sorting out relationships. The style still holds me at a distance from the story. The monster was one of my favorite but not much explored. Most of these don't end on bad cliffs though they leave room for secondary issues to grow. This one ends on a cliff that felt jarring especially after waiting so long for something exciting to happen in the part. It ends as soon as it does.

The relationship with Juliet and Samuel is hotting up nicely and looks like Juliet and are ready to admit their true feelings. But of course even though Juliet paves the way for Samuel this relationship has to have even more obstacles thrown its way!!
They are on the hunt for a new type of monster, a Banshee which is a new one on me. This is one of the reasons I enjoy the Circus of the Dead books so much, Kimberly introduces us to the most amazing monsters.
The end of this book literally had me in shock, it was SOOO good and now I am in an even bugger rush to jump to the next few instalments to see what happens next, although I will miss them when they are over.

Cliffhanger Alert!!

"I am falling hard for Samuel Walker." Can this be true? Can Juliette really be falling for Samuel after all he did to her and her friends in the past? Juliette decides that she has to break things off with Luca. As much as she likes him, she knows it isn't right to continue the relationship since she can't be completely honest with him.

Juliette and Samuel are trying to discover if there was another creature killing during the last new moon. There were three deaths, but all appear to be from natural causes. But, that doesn't make sense on this crazy island.

"I work with the dead, yeah." Juliette soon meets someone who might be a creature, but she can't be sure. Can she and Samuel get to the bottom of this before it's too late and the unknown creature turns someone else into a trapped monster?

Warning: This book ends on a HUGE cliffhanger. I mean, the type that makes you want to hurl your Kindle against the wall cliffhanger! Can't write any more....have to find out what happens next!
