Dang it! I want more words!!!

Oh the pain of a series not yet finished. This is book 3. It’s long. It’s got a war and betrayal and romance — a love triangle no less — and so much more.I’m hooked, even with the changing main character (this book follows Chancery, same as book 1). Book 2 followed Chancery’s so-called evil twin, Judica. I wanted to hate book 2 as I did not like Judica in book 1, but ended up rooting for her as much as Chancery.Let me just say that these two come from a large, complex family with a lot of potential enemies and friends. It’s a solid read.

A lot of growth for the Queen of Queens

Chancery is trying her best to figure out how to rule not just her bit of the world, but how to follow through with staking claim to basically all of earth. Queen of Queens is a pretty bold assertion and perhaps one only a naïve girl is able to make. Chancery has a rough idea of what this will entail, but perhaps not as much as her sister Judica or their older sisters might know. Certainly not what she was brought up to expect she would be thinking about at 18 years old, and not at all what the other blood-thirsty ruling families were planning for the Alamecha reign just a few short months ago. She is in a tough spot, trying to stay true to who she is while gaining/maintaining control over the masses, while mending relationships that are even more important to her than her queendom. She grows a lot in this book and it is interesting to see the other characters’ development, too.

The Queen of Empathy

Wonderful series. Beautiful wrap up inthe third book. NOW WE ARE GETTING SOMEWHERE. The first two books are good but this one was great because of action.

Awesome!

I can’t put these books down! For those who read the Red Queen series, it had a similar vibe. I can’t wait to start the next book. I bought the first 2 books for my niece and recommended the series to both my kids.
