Yes, I am one of the readers who was excited to read the superb blurb for Jenna's story. I loved Jenna from the very first time we met her with Ben and I was soooo disappointed when the author decided to push back the publishing date. (It made me read the Desolation story which explains the Council of Essentials and the Royal Kingdoms.)So I must confess I was rather disappointed when we got the complete back story before the fake dating even began. The thing is, that blurb was so good that those first few chapters were anti-climactic for me.Then came all the Desolation references to The Promised Prince and it was not until the mention of The Stolen Princess that I realised that it was Keisel's own Dystopian Royal Romances that were being filmed, and this was not a somewhat obscured Game of Thrones reference! The Desolate World and The Rejected King actually come before Promised Prince but neither were suitable to give Jenna and Cody starring roles.It was truly delightful to revisit some of my favourite scenes from Desolation, especially that iconic Red Dress! For those who have read The Promised Prince, you'll find that it really adds to this story, but prior knowledge is not at all essential to enjoying this second outing of Famously In Love.

I was hooked from the first page

Aaaah these characters hooked me from the first page! The accidental text that kept making a random appearance as the relationship between Jenna and Cody unfolded was genius and the epilogue…. Best HEA! 😍 loved it

Such a cute story with a good message! (Love the references to "The Promised Prince" too)

Important Note: Do not read this book if you haven't already read Kortney's book "The Promised Prince." This book references it many times and will spoil parts of that book if you haven't read it yet. (By the way, "The Promised Prince is my favorite book of Kortney's in her Desolation series and in general, so far! So read it!)Okay, now that that's been said, I can comment on "How Jenna Became My Dilemma." It's a fun and easy read with parts where I literally laughed aloud or giggled. Since it ties in with "The Promised Prince," that of course makes me like it even more because it helped build up what would happen next. It's also got a good message that everyone can get on board with. Clean and sweet!

Kortney is an auto-buy author for me so I was excited to be part of her ARC/Launch team. If you haven’t read any of her books you should. Her sweet Rom-Com series is the best and this spin-off is so sweet. Jenna and Cody just have so much love inside.
