Was a fun, clean romance that kept me reading.

amusing light read

Good clean fun. Somewhat predictable, but with enough surprises to keep my interest. An enjoyable light read.

My first from this author - certainly not my last

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish, devouring it in one sitting. It was absolutely hilarious and I found myself at one point or another breaking out in a crazy loud laugh or two. In fact I find myself trying to relay these funny moments to friends and after a few minutes I give up and just tell them to read the book. A great light feel good book that I'm still smiling from days after. Can you believe that it sat in my to read section for 6 months before I jumped in!

Never a disappointment

Janette Rallison, as always, made me laugh so hard. Her books are always so entertaining and I think I've read almost all of them 🤔. Don't know, I'll have to check. And put a remedy to my lack of reading her books 😁.Definitely a book to read if you need a good dose of cheering up. Or just a way to entertain yourself on a boring day.

a romantic comedy vom Feinsten - klare Kaufempfehlung

Clarissa braucht unbedingt einen Job un sich und ihre kleine Tocher finanziell über Wasser zu halten. Von einem Arbeitsvermittler wird sie irrtümlich als verheiratet eingestuft - eine Voraussetzung, um den Job als Kindermädchen bei dem geschiedenen Filmstar Slade zu bekommen. Es wiil sich damit vor ungewünschten Annäherungsversuchen schützen. Clarissa hat nicht vor, Annäherungsversuche zu starten, so scheint diese kleine Lüge nicht wichtig zu sein.Janette Rallison hat einen flüssigen, modernen und mitreißenden Schreibstil. Man kann sofort in die Geschichte eintauchen. Ihre Charaktere sind liebenswert und haben ihre kleinen Ecken und Kanten. Mit zwei kleinen Kindern als Nebenfuguren gibt es viel zu lachen. Und Janette hat bewiesen, das man mit einem "clean read" echte romantische Stimmung erzeugen kann.Wer leichte Unterhaltung sucht und es märchenhaft mag, ist mit diesem Buch bestens bedient!
