He’s not staying any longer than he has to. She knows better than to fall in love with him a second time. But fate might have other ideas.

When veterinarian Noah Taggert left his hometown, he always intended to come back. Helping out at his uncle’s horse ranch was supposed to be a temporary arrangement. Discovering the woman he loved had broken his heart made it permanent.

If it wasn’t for his uncle’s dying wish, he wouldn’t be in Snowy Falls at all.

Too bad no one told Noah his family was gone, forcing him to extend his stay until they return. To top it off, Everly—the one woman he’s determined to avoid—is Grandma Annie’s live-in tenant.

Elementary school librarian Everly Jensen has a job she loves, a dog she adores, and the best landlord who lets her work in exchange for rent while she saves to buy a house. Helping Annie prep for the Taggert family Christmas over her holiday break should be a piece a cake. Until Noah walks back into her life.

She’s never gotten over her best friend’s brother, even though Noah broke his promise to return home and never told her why. Now they’re stuck together in the same house until the rest of the Taggert clan returns home, at the mercy of Grandma Annie’s to-do list.

The more time they spend together, the more the walls they’ve put up start to crumble. But Noah can’t stay in Snowy Falls. Everly knows better than to fall in love with him a second time, but will that be enough to stop her?

This is a sweet small town contemporary holiday romance with an HEA.

Could They Get A Second Chance at Love?

Very cute start to a new contemporary series. A misunderstanding has kept them apart for four years as Noah Taggert left his hometown of Snowy Falls in Maine and never returned. Noah wanted to follow the last wishes of his uncle by coming home for Christmas after all those years away.. Unfortunately his family didn't know his plans and they were in Cancun trying to get his sister out of a problem. What Noah didn't want to do was see Everly Jensen, the woman who had broken his heart.Everly had no idea why Noah had never come back to Snowy Falls after going to his uncle's ranch. She thought the relationship they had secretly started was going well but when Noah never contacted her or come home after leaving, she was left with a broken heart. Staying in his grandmother's house as a live-in renter was helping her from missing her mom who had just moved to Ireland. What she didn't expect was to have Noah show up and to stay in a room in his grandmother's house.Could these two clear up the horrible misunderstanding that had kept them apart for so many years? Would they have a second chance at love or would his uncle's will get in the way?Looking forward to more stories in this series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
