Small-town magic and Christmas miracles are just fairy tales… until they’re not.

Nancy Harmon loves everything about her little hometown of Christmas Tree Hill, from the twinkling holiday lights to the annual Christmas festival she’s determined to save.

When the festival’s future rests on the shoulders of a grumpy city slicker who doesn’t even like Christmas, Nancy’s holiday cheer faces its toughest test yet. Sparks fly—and not always the good kind—when she sets out to prove to him that magic still exists, especially at Christmas.

Neil Bennett doesn’t have time for small-town charm, Christmas lights, or the irrepressibly cheerful woman intent on dragging him into her world of carols and cocoa. All he wants is to finalize the deal that will move Christmas Tree Ranch into the future—one without tinsel and tradition.

The more time he spends with Nancy, the harder it becomes to resist her infectious joy... and the harder it is to ignore the pull of magic he’s spent years trying to forget.

With Christmas fast approaching, will Nancy’s unshakable spirit be enough to thaw Neil’s heart? Or will this be the year she learns that even magic has its limits?

Love this series!

Growing up Neil learned that he should find his “worth” in work. There was not much affection in his home. He is brought to Christmas Tree Hill (by his only good friend) to save the town’s Christmas Festival. He plans to do just that and escape back to the city and his impersonal, solitary life. He doesn’t figure on meeting either Nancy with the bubbly personality and love and celebration of all things Christmas or the people of the town that make everyone feel like family. You will love seeing Neil interact with the children, the towns people, and especially Nancy as his Grinchie heart grows and grows. He is accepted and made a part of the Johnson family and he doesn’t know how that happened!!! Get some cookies and hot chocolate and take time for this short, feel good story. You will love it!

A surprise happy-ever-after

Neil Bennett was hired to boost tourism in Christmas Tree Hill, or more particularly the town's annual Christmas Festival. He's a workaholic, so that part of the job isn't an issue. His problem is that he doesn't like Christmas... can you say Scrooge?Nancy Harmon is the town's Tourism Director and the complete opposite of Neil. She's a great multi-tasker, talks a mile a minute, and loves Christmas. This fun story also brings us up-to-date with the Johnson family. I highly recommend this clean, faith -based , contemporary story with a surprise HEA. You'll also find answers to the following questions: Do Neil and Nancy find a way to save the festival, and thereby the town? Can Neil and Nancy reach a compromise so they can work together? At the beginning of the story Neil can't wait to get back to the city... does he change his mind? If so, what swayed his decision? Also, what about Neil's attitude about Christmas?Read The Cowboy's Magical Christmas by Danae Little... you won't be sorry.I was given an ARC of this story but all thoughts and comments are mine, given voluntarily.

Great story!

Nancy has been known in this series as being a whirlwind that no one can handle. In reality, she is a very driven individual with the town's best interest at heart. She gets Neil to come to town to help with marketing of their Christmas festivities to help increase sales for businesses. As a city guy, Neil does not understand the nuances of the small town that Nancy keeps insisting are so important. He has never truly experienced Christmas or how it can change one's outlook on life. Nancy sets out to change that. She knows that if she can't get him to see Christmas as the town sees Christmas, that he won't be able to create appropriate marketing to help them succeed. Along the way, both Nancy and Neil realize there is a deeper connection between the two of them!Read this clean romance to find out if Neil stays like Scrooge or if Christmas miracles really do happen! I received an advance copy of this book from the author. All opinions in this review are my own.

Cute Christmas Romance

This is a clean Christmas romance.Neil comes to Christmas Tree Hill to help his friend. He is great at marketing and organizing and they are trying to save the Christmas Festival. They rely on visitors to keep the town alive. His friend has him working with Nancy, who has lived in this town a long time and loves Christmas. He’s an introvert and she’s an extrovert. Can they figure out how to get along to save the town?I like how friends can become family and change someone’s attitude. Neil definitely has some great ideas and is very humble. Nancy is attracted to him, but he’s her complete opposite. Great rapport between those two and the town.I received an ARC from the author and am leaving an honest review.

Neil is the Cowboy who had a magical Christmas because of Nancy

Neil and Nancy's love story is breathtaking. Nancy lives in Christmas Tree Hill and owns a shop called "Christmas All Year". Her sister Merry works at the store. Their dad is the town lawyer. Merry lives with Mom and Dad and Nancy has her own cabin nearby. Neil lives on an apartment in the city. His best friend, Timothy asks him to come to Christmas Tree Hill to save the Christmas Festival. His job was turning tourism around in cities. He stays in a cabin on Timothy's ranch. He has to work directly with Nancy. As they work together they fall in love. He becomes a hero to the townspeople. He buys a house and stays in town. He proposes to Nancy and of course she says "yes". I love a book with a beautiful proposal and Danae gives us one."You're here." Neil swallowed. Nancy Harmon came toward them. "It's so good to see you again, Neil." She reached up and gave him a hug before giving Timothy one as well. She wished she could watch him and the lighting at the same time. She wanted to see if the moment moved him at all. When the lights flicked on, there was no choice but to look at them. She gasped as she always did, her heart filling with warmth. Neil made a small noise beside her but he wasn't looking at the lights--he was looking at her. The way Neil's smile flickered felt close to the beginnings of a Christmas miracle. Maybe the festival wasn't the only thing worth saving this year.Neil thought of marriage as a partnership, not this crazy infatuated kind of intoxicating love he saw his friends slip into. That was rare and unsustainable. He thought of Grams and Gramps. Their marriage was still going strong, and their eyes held that same intoxicating look of love that Timmy's and Ember's did, and Tanner's and Joy's, and Drew's and Rachel's. Christmas was about hope, about believing in the impossible--and tonight Nancy was dangerously close to believing in Neil."Nancy, you are the single most generous person I've ever met. You see the best in everyone." "I see the best in you." He bent low. Their lips touched. Her lips tasted of cocoa and courage, and he wasn't sure he could ever let go. Time stopped. For one reckless moment he let himself believe. "It's you. You are the one who opened my eyes to this. It hit me that I had changed and that scared me." "I didn't mean to change you, but I wanted you to see just how loved you are here, how much you belong." "I see that now, and I'll be forever grateful to you, but Nancy, it's more than just the town and the Johnsons. It's you . If I tried to leave I would be leaving my heart here." He looked up. "So that's where she put the Mistletoe.--" His lips cut her short and finally she got her answer--yes each of his kisses would fill her with magic. He typed in the definition of love: an intense feeling of deep affection. According to the definition he did love Nancy. Nancy's love had changed him into a man who finally understood what it felt like to be loved."The only thing I know without a doubt is I love you Nancy and I want you to be mine." "I love you too. So you want me to be your girlfriend?" "Yeah, that's what I'm saying." Maybe they just needed to trust in some good ol' Christmas magic.Neil dropped to one knee. "Nancy Harmon, you are the most generous woman I know. I have a home and that home is you. Will you please make this the most magical Christmas ever by becoming my wife?" "I would love nothing more than to be your wife." They kissed. Everyone broke into cheers. Danae has written another blessed story about being a man who turns tourism around in cities, a woman who owns a Christmas shop and of course falling in love. I recommend this book and all of Danae's books to everyone. I received this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
