Start with old fashioned ways

Fantastic story of Rachel and Drew. By a chance meeting and getting to know each through letters often helps start a relationship in a great way. Loved their love story and looking forward to seeing how this series goes as already pre-ordered the next one.

Wonderful Addition to the Cowboys at Christmas Tree Ranch Series!

The Cowboy's Romantic Christmas is the quintessential holiday romance with two likeable main characters each with a loving family, ministering to children together in order to provide them with some Christmas cheer, and with the setting of a Christmas tree ranch. I loved the old-fashioned letter writing that the couple did to get to know one another. Milo, a foster child, stole my heart as well as that of all those around her. I admired Drew's tenacity. The proposal was charming. Author Danae Little dealt with the subjects of cancer, infertility, and the foster care system sensitively. I would very comfortably recommend this book to family and friends.I received a complimentary copy and am sharing my opinion of this well-written lovely addition to the Cowboys at Christmas Tree Ranch series.

Sweet romance

This was another sweet romance with the Johnsons of Christmas Tree Ranch. Drew and Rachel met at Christmas and then fell in love through letters while she was in college and he was working his ranch at home. When the meet in person again, the spark is still there and stronger than ever. As they grow in their love, a secret comes to light that threatens their happily ever after. As they work through the heartache and find the strength to forgive, they receive their Christmas miracle. This is a delightful story not just of two people, but it sheds light on children in foster care and their needs.I received a copy of this book from the author as and ARC, but this is an honest review of my thoughts.

Just not my cup of tea.

I’ve read several books by Danae Little and if you’re looking for extreme innocent, backwoods, romance this might fit the bill for you. Unfortunately, for me, it was just a little too ‘sweet’ and the misunderstandings a little much, but especially the secret Drew can’t bring himself to share with Rachel and Rachel’s reaction to it were just sad. How can someone be in love but withhold such important information? And as a parent of an adopted child I was equally irritated with Rachel’s reaction to it.It all got to be too much and I couldn’t finish this book.I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

Could Drew's secret affect Rachel's desire to marry him?

Drew was a rancher. Rachel met Drew last Christmas and they wrote letters to each other for a year. When Rachel graduated college, her Grams invites her to come live with her at Christmas Tree Ranch to help her with the ranch and the kids. So Rachel goes there and when she sees Drew again she realizes that they both have true feelings for each other. Drew loves Rachel but he has a secret. If he tells Rachel his secret he fears she may not want to marry him. Drew prays for God to guide him. Rachel somehow learns the secret befoe he tells her and new problems arise. Hopefully they can work things out. Please read the book to see if Drew and Rachel can find their HEA.
