She’s in town to find herself, not lose her heart to a single dad.

All Kayla Jones is good at is work. So, when her friend talks her into taking a solo vacation in a beach town, work remains her foremost thought, and she rear-ends a stranger’s truck while on a business call. Having a nervous breakdown in front of the handsome driver wasn’t part of the plan—neither was getting her Airbnb reservations messed up.

After his wife walked away from their family, single father Tucker Boudreau’s priority is taking care of his son, even if it means running a daycare. When his neighbor asks him to host an overflow guest, Tucker isn’t prepared to fall in love with the beautiful tourist—yet from their first encounter, he feels an irresistible connection with Kayla.

But even though she seems to reciprocate his feelings, she’s never been around kids, and his puppy terrifies her. So what happens when they realize they can’t be apart, especially when her vacation ends and she gets a promising call that could heighten her career?

Tucker has fought for love before. Does he have it in him to fight for another chance at love?

A Sweet Love Story

Once again Rose Fresquez brings a story that weaves the realities of life and the goodness of God together. A lonely workaholic woman and a single father who has learned the value of slowing down find themselves drawn to each other. Through their interactions, they each learn to get past the hurts of the past and step out in faith for the love they are longing for. An enjoyable read that will bring a smile to your face. I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Great book!

I enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was quite moving. It took some time for Tucker to trust again especially after his first wife decided to leave him and their son. It’s interesting to see how the story develops. I would definitely recommend this book for reading. /JN

Trust God

Well written clean storyline, love the supporting characters 🤗. Trust God and wait on him, things happen for a reason.Tucker agrees to help his neighbor Penny with her over booked Airbnb situation, he allows the guest to stay in one of his bed rooms 😊. Penny explains the mixup to Kayla, she offers a solution, stay with her next door neighbor 😳. Kayla appears ready to bolt, there's a kid and dog at the Airbnb she will be at for 2 weeks 🤣. It's a good storyline as Tucker and Kayla realize an irresistible connection to each other, they both have priorities, but God has a plan 😉. Good read!
