Sometimes coming home means finding what your heart’s been missing.

Damon lived in ten different towns growing up, but Echo Ridge was one of the few places that ever felt like home. Now a widower determined to give his daughter stability, returning to the small ski resort town feels like the one right move—though Maggie isn’t so sure. Discovering that Haley, the girl he once let slip through his fingers, is also back in town is a surprise he didn’t know he needed.

Haley never imagined she’d trade her fast-paced New York career for caring for her grandmother in the tiny hometown she once couldn’t wait to leave. Running into Damon—the boy she’d secretly crushed on sixteen years ago—is the last thing she expected. Working together on the homecoming float, she realizes the spark she once felt has only grown stronger.

But with her grandmother’s recovery uncertain and her old life in the city calling, Haley faces a choice: return to the career she worked so hard for… or take a chance on the love that feels like coming home.

Is Echo Ridge her temporary stop—or the place her heart has been trying to return to all along?

Sweet read!

This very sweet romance was well written which grabbed my attention from the very first page! However, it was the very likable and engaging characters that captured my heart and kept it until I finished reading the very last page! This book was so enjoyable that I ended up reading it in one sitting!

Second chance story

Being able to write the emotion and deliberation is a gift. You feel much of what the characters feel, though not enough to be stressed out in their stressful situations. Second chances at love are rare and sweet, and Damon and Haley are great. They fit together well and I love that they want to find the best thing for all of them.

Love rekindled

When Haley gives up her dream job and moves back to her hometown to care for her grandmother, she gets stuck in a job she hates and has no intent of making the situation permanent. Then Damon moves back to town with his daughter. He was the guy she almost had a relationship with in high school. Could he change her mind about her future? One thing I really enjoy about these books are the different points of view. In this story you read from both Haley and Damon's point of view so it's interesting to see the different perspectives. This was a sweet love story and a quick read. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to read a good clean love story.

An enjoyable, sweet love story. Their first relationship was interrupted by family but life has given them a second chance.
