Much Ado About a Kiss
Some kisses are impossible to forget… even when you really want to.
Fay has her life exactly where she wants it. She runs the 50s retro café she grew up in, her artwork hangs in a local gallery, and she keeps the library board running like a well-oiled machine. She’s busy, fulfilled, and absolutely not looking for a man to complicate things.
Especially not Austin—the brother’s best friend she once kissed in high school, before he broke her heart.
So when her brother and Austin announce they're moving back home to open a ski and mountain bike shop, Fay is not thrilled. Austin disrupts her perfectly ordered routines, pushes buttons he shouldn’t, and somehow still knows exactly how to make her laugh.
She tells herself she’s over that kiss. Over him. Over the way he still sees her in a way no one else does.
But as old sparks flicker back to life, Fay has to decide whether she can keep her tidy, controlled world intact… or admit that the one guy she never planned on might be exactly what she’s been missing.
