Cheesy

This is a story about a boy who fell in love with the girl next door, but girl never knew it. When her wedding is called off Miranda calls her best friend Drew. Drew drops everything and flies to her. He helps her through everything and the only thing left to take care of is the honeymoon cruise. Which just happens to be her and Drew's favorite tv series. Along the course of the well together, things start to change between them. Miranda is noticing Drew in a different light. With a lot of non-communication and bad timing, nothing more than two stolen kisses happen between them. It takes Drew cutting off ties for Miranda to realize she's in love with him and for Drew to grow the balls to tell her how he feels. *sigh* they get married really fast, but not really, yay the end.

Depends upon your point of view...

I did read the entire book, but a few times I wanted to put it down and forget about it. I didn't like the venue of the cruise ship. It was too corny for me and was a bit embarrassing. I'm glad that it had a happy ending, but it felt like it took forever to get there. Since my husband and myself grew up together, went to school together and lived next door to one another, I totally understand the feelings that grow over time. But, the lack of communication between these two was just unbearable for me, because when you are young, you just say everything on your mind, never holding back, because you are just too young to know any better, and as you age, it is already a habit. So, for me personally, it was just a trial, but I finally got to the end, and congratulate myself for finishing my reading project!

Loved it!

Awesome romp! Loved the comedy and tears, the Star Venture theme cruise and the whole cast of characters. Great job of giving the couple impossible hurdles to keep them apart. Entertaining clean romance that did not need bedroom scenes to keep my interest because it was a great story.

Very enjoyable book

Having a special friend is so amazing. It takes years to cultivate a strong friendship. Drew and Miranda had that kind of friendship. Over the years Drew's feelings went beyond friendship. How can he let Miranda know. This a very interesting and enjoyable story.
