Lucy Moore has always believed in fairy godmothers.

So when she lands a dream job at Drake Enterprises, she knows exactly who to thank. But the opportunity comes with a twist—one month at the annual Drake family retreat on The Lucky Wolf Ranch in northern Montana.

Armed with warm clothes and a fake-it-’til-you-make-it attitude, Lucy is determined to prove she belongs. What she isn’t prepared for is the Drake brothers.

Alexander, her new boss, looks like he stepped straight off a magazine cover—and shares her love of numbers. He’s brilliant, polished, and far too perfect to be real.

Daniel, on the other hand, is the first person Lucy meets in the most humiliating way possible. His easy warmth and quick humor make the frozen ranch feel a little less intimidating—and a lot more like home.

As Lucy navigates animal mishaps, awkward living arrangements, ranch-hand flirting, and a few moments of accidental eavesdropping, she’s determined to prove she can handle the job. But when the month ends and it’s time to return home, Lucy realizes her story is only just beginning.

Now her heart belongs to the one man who feels exactly right. The question is—can love survive the distance, the doubts, and everything standing in their way?

On a scale of 1 to 5, this is a goofy-smile-that-wont-leave-my-face 5+ stars!

Ok, so I'm not sure how plausible the premise is, but it was so much fun, I didn't care - it was an absolutely delightful romp from start to finish!

Lucy is such an entertaining character that I loved her, as well as Kayla, immediately. And I want to be neighbors with them!

The dialogue in the story sparkles, and sure enough, Lucy's relationship with the hero is fairytale worthy.

How am I going to be able to wait for the next book?! I'll definitely be re-reading! And hoping for an audiobook of it! Is Kayla's story done yet?

*Romance level: passionate kisses, nothing graphic

Delightful

I loved how the city girl falls for the guy and the country. Her questions cracked me up. "Do sheep smell?". Thankfully the questions all had answers! I also enjoyed that this was a clean romance, with kissing and hand holding. I recommend it, and I am going to read the next book in the series!

Cute read

I really loved all the characters in this book. It was a cute story about how difficult it is to maintain a long distance romance. Sacrifices need to be made for true love but communication wins over true love!!!

LOVED it!

This is the best romance I have read in a while. The characters were so likable and the story had a differ t twist than the usual trope. I had a permanent smile on my face during their banter! Seriously laugh out loud dialogue! Just such a sweet story that leaves you feeling good and light and clean. I couldn’t wait to read this and hated to put it down. I truly enjoyed this book. I look forward to the next one. Not sure how the author will make Alexander as likable as Daniel, but look forward to finding out!
