Fall in love with Christmas magic!

And the Christmasness abounds! The only problem with early Christmas releases is that I have no self control to keep from reading them NOW and I’ll be all finished by the time December rolls around. Ah, well, that’s what rereads are for! 😉Wes & Maggie were straight up adorable! They have a history, but it was great to see their resolution. Wes isn’t used to having people care about him after a childhood of being rather neglected by his parents, so it’s sweet to see the way he finds himself opening up to Maggie and letting her care for him. Maggie is the kind of heroine I really enjoy reading about. She’s not girlboss tough or strong (there’s a place for those, too!), but instead a sweet and gentle soul. She feels overlooked and insignificant muchly due to insecurities rooted in her younger days. Watching her work through those feelings was really encouraging to see!Plus, I ADORE the tie in to Troy & Stevie from the Sheppard family series! Crossovers make me so bizarrely happy!So pull out the Christmas tree, cue the music, and brew a cup of FRESH cocoa (this is imperative!), and enjoy a bit of Hallmark-y Christmas magic!

Wonderful clean romance

I was laughing so hard at times! The author is great at building humor. Her characters were excellent and fun story line.

This book will NOT make you feel solo for the season!

See what I did there? Because it's actually impossible to feel anything but warm fuzzies while reading this here masterpiece! It was so cute and so cozy! It's only the second book by Martha Keyes I've ever read, but I'm telling you, I will sing her praises until I'm no longer living. This woman knows romcoms! The way she writes their banter is so adorable!! I will never get over love interests teasing each other all the time. It's wonderful. Marvelous. Stunning.Maggie books a cabin alone for two weeks during Christmas to make up for her crappy one the year before. Assistant manager of the place, Wes, just so happens to be her childhood crush. They've both grown up and changed since grade school, and the sparks are flying everywhere. But Wes's desire to become manager means he can't fraternize with the guests, and besides Maggie will only be there for two weeks anyway.Naturally, this stops absolutely none of the feelings from bubbling up. It's the perfect Christmas read. Pick it up, and you'll thank me for it later.

Cute, Funny Christmas Romance

Maggie wants a Christmas without romance drama except in her books and movies due to a bad experience the previous year. Wes is busy working at Crystal Peaks Resort, his dream job and favorite place to be. But one of the tenants consistently tries to claim Wes’s attention, even though Wes isn’t interested, and Maggie tries to avoid his attention due to some bad experiences at her high school when she was younger. I had lots of chuckles as Wes tried to avoid the attention of those in Cabin Eight, while at the same time trying to find excuses to visit Maggie in her over decorated Christmas themed Cabin, called “Santa’s Haven”. Maggie and Wes had great rapport, and I had to laugh at their funny conversations. I was glad that Maggie’s Christmas turned into a fun, better Christmas than the previous year. This story was excellent as was the audio version.

Maggie's strength and fortitude is what I loved in this clean romance

The cabin is hilarious and creepy and adds so much to all the craziness of Maggie's Christmas. Her strength and fortitude in life is what I loved about this book. I loved the friendship and relationship building between her and Wes but most of all I loved that she was such a strength herself even if she had fears or past memories that haunted her. This is a great read for Christmas, even though I didn't get it done until January ;) but really a fun clean romance for any time!Second chance romance. Enemies to lovers. Clean romance.
