The cowboy and his best friend...

April MacFarlane wishes her best friend, veterinarian, Brant Wylder would see her as more than another rescue. Someone he might choose for his own happily ever after.

Can she convince him the only thing in need of rescue is her heart?

Brant knows April’s life is a mess, and figures the last thing she needs is her BFF hitting on her. After all, he just extracted her from a loveless marriage, gave her a job, as well as a home for her and her four-year-old son. Plus, she’s got to be freaking out over the sudden return of her first love, the man everyone believes came to win her back…

There’s no way April’s ready for love.

But when Brant and April find themselves on the doorstep to the local chapel on New Year’s Eve, ready to say “I do” for reasons of practicality, will this cowboy find a way to move out of the friend zone and into the husband zone?

Terrific

Another awesome book in the series. Brant and April grew up together on the Wylder ranch and have always been close. Now, the time is right for them to begin a relationship. Their elopement is spontaneous and they have a lot of hard work to do to reach true happiness as a married couple. After many false starts and misunderstandings, they finally achieve their HEA. I love this series and can't wait to read Cole and Jackie's story next.

Great characters and story

This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author. The story sucked me in so completely. :)I loved this couple. I also like that their misunderstanding isn't one that could've been cleared up by a simple conversation. So much of it was caused by their own insecurities and mind-set that without first accepting some things about themselves a conversation wouldn't have helped them

Great read!!

ARC for honest review with no compensationThe Cowboy’s Sweet Elopement is book 4 in the Cowboys of Sweetheart Creek series by Jean Oram and what a great continuation to this series. We read about Brandt and April in the prior books and now that April divorced he is determined to get out of the friend zone and into a couples zone. Somewhere along the way, things develop and they find themselves at the local chapel on New Year’s Eve...question is do they or don’t they get hitched?Pick up this book and find out what happens to Brandt, April and family!

Loved Brant!

I was glad to read April and Brant’s story. There has been something going on between the two in previous books, but I wasn’t quite sure what. April has been on the Wylder farm since she was young and her father worked on the farm. April and the oldest Wylder brother, Cole, dated and fought off and on. The last fight she told him she wanted time to herself which was five years ago. April has hated that she has always been impulsive, and especially so when she got together with Heath and pregnant after Cole left. I know it was hard for April always fighting with Heath, but wanting was best for her son. Brant is one of the good guys that will do anything for anyone. He has had a crush on April for awhile and he is there for her when she finally leaves her husband and gets a divorce. I hated that she felt Brant was always trying to rescue her, and she wanted to feel like she could take care of herself. I felt bad for Brant as he just wanted to do everything he could to help make life easier for April. It is funny how two people can look at something and see things completely different. I know you will love Brant, I sure did. I strongly encourage you to read this book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
