A heartwarming Christmas romance where he falls first in this grumpy sunshine sports novel featuring a curvy small town heroine and a hockey player hero!

Because sometimes love doesn't follow the playbook…

When sunshiney Jenny wished for more adventure in her life, she never thought she’d be sent a grumpy hockey player.

But could Dylan’s gruff exterior be nothing more than an act? Does this hockey hunk secretly enjoy their spirited debates that upset their friends at Thanksgiving? (Oops.)

Of course, men like him don’t go for curvy, small town women… Or do they?

Dylan can’t help but be captivated by Jenny's feisty, direct charm. The catch? Despite being benched for an injury that might end his career, he’s deep in trade talks that could send him across the continent.

But since meeting Jenny, the idea of a life off the ice isn’t nearly as unsettling. Then again, maybe his foot will heal, he’ll get the girl, stay with his team, and have it all. Either way, he needs to convince Jenny that all this big-shot wants this holiday season is her.

Delightful, clean, Christmas romance!

Sugar Cookie Country House is a delightful, clean, Christmas romance. I have loved every one of the books in this series! This one was especially fun. Dylan pretends to be a grump and Jenny can’t believe he really cares for her just as she is. They trade a lot of witty banter. I just sat and read the entire book because I did not want to put it down! There is some angst as Dylan heals from his injury, faces being traded and might have to retire. Ms. Oram manages to bring everything to a very satisfying conclusion!

Grumpy meets Sunshine

Sugar Cookie Country House is book 6 in the Hockey Sweethearts series by Jean Oram. Up next is Dylan and Jenny’s story. 4.5 starsWhat happens when grumpy meets sunshine…he’s been injured and is hoping it’s not career ending, getting traded and meets the girl who shows him there’s more to life than hockey. She wished for adventure in her life…and it brings her a hot, grumpy hockey player that show her life is an adventure. Can these two make all there wishes come true during the Christmas season…only time will tell…I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Awesome

Another fabulous book by the talented Jean Oram. Dylan and Jenny are opposites who click. Jenny is a small-town girl and Dylan is a professional hockey player. When they meet at Maverick's Thanksgiving dinner, sparks fly. Dylan is immediately drawn to Jenny because she isn't a swooning fan girl and pulls no punches where his fame is concerned. Their feelings don't take long to deepen and turn to love. Read this wonderful book to see how they navigate the road to love.

Is it finally Jenny’s turn?

Sugar Cookie Country House written by Jean Oram. Dylan and Jenny meet by chance and try to date. She owns a shop and he is a career hockey player. Busy lives can cause problems for new romance and they certainly get their share of issues. It’s a sweet story that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy! This group of friends are all really great to read about!

When Jenny and Dylan first met, they "argued" - well it appeared they couldn't stand each other but really sparks were flying and all in a good way. Love that they got their own book. She feels like they are worlds apart, but he is smitten at first meet. Great banter and conversation between these two. She is one sweetheart, and he is one grouch or is he really? Of course, there are a few bumps in the rode, but the author did an amazing job of smoothing them out. Love her grandfather and all their friends. Great sneaky ending. This is one of my favorite series.
