A delightful feel-good read!

Hannah and Louis met in high school. They never seemed to get along, always fighting. When Louis moves back to Sweetheart Creek, he’s determined that this feud between them will finally end.Louis Bellmore, a polymath/Renaissance man, has returned to Texas to coach the San Antonio Dragons hockey team. He decides to return to Sweetheart Creek, his home when he was in high school. He buys a house that just happens to be next door to Hannah Murphy.Hannah’s recently divorced from her high school sweetheart Calvin. She’s a single mom to two young boys, working in daycare and teaching music to help make ends meet. She does everything she can to ignore Louis, but he repeatedly comes to her, and her sons’, rescue. This is an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers story. It’s very much a love-hate relationship that started in high school. It’s a delightful read, and, so far, my favorite in the series. I especially loved Louis, he reminded me of a young Bruce Willis in Moonlighting, all confident and cocky, but with a heart of gold.I highly recommend this book. As with the others in the series, it’s a feel-good read that will leave you smiling.I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author. I thank her for her generosity, but it had no effect on this review. All opinions in this review reflect my true and honest reactions to reading this book.

Sweet Second Chance

I thought this book was very romantic, as Louis had a second chance with Hannah when he moved next door to her house. He liked her in high school but she thought they were enemies. I liked how he encouraged Hannah to be the person she was meant to be and not to settle. I did not care for her ex-husband. He only seemed to care about himself and his goals and not how that might affect Hannah and their two boys.

Cute!

This was a cute story about Hannah learning to live again after her divorce. An old frenemy from high school moves in next door and gets Hannah to start believing in herself and doing something to better herself. Hannah's friends agree with Louis, the next door neighbor. Louis has always liked Hannah and he sees his chance to show her how he feels.
