A boy searching for an end to the fighting.

A girl trapped in a nightmare of her father’s making.

White walls. Locked doors. A kid’s voice in her head.

Sophie’s father believes she has lost her mind, that her trip to the fae world might have healed her body, but it also turned her into one of them. He’s sent her to a place for humans suffering from brutal encounters with the fae.

But Sophie knows he’s hiding a dark secret. One that will change her world forever.

With the help of a young boy with an odd power, Sophie is determined to survive long enough to reveal to the world what the doctors are doing to the fae deep within the bowels of the Clarkson Institute.

Gulliver is determined to find Sophie. Has to tell her he’s sorry he couldn’t keep her safe. It’s risky, more dangerous than anything he’s ever attempted, but he can’t leave her in that awful place. With two Iskaltian queens at his side, he believes. In the power they possess and the good they can do for everyone.

He’s just Gullie, but Brea and Tia have the power to bring real change.

It might take a miracle to save Sophie and both their worlds, but Gulliver and his friends have a plan. A plan to bring peace to human and Fae alike.

He just never dreamed peace would cost so much.

About the Author

I'm a USA Today Bestselling author of fantasy, contemporary romance, and romantic comedies. Fantasy was my first and forever love with the bestselling "Golden Curse". I love taking old stories and turning them around until they're almost unrecognizable except to the most avid fans. I write books to challenge myself, tackling hard topics or places so different from my own. Studying ancient cultures, architecture, and folklore is one of the best parts of being an author.I've written more than seventy stories full of magic, love, and friendship, and at thirty-three, have no plans to ever stop.

Satisfying conclusion

This is book eight and final book of the Queen of Fae’s collection. Great series. Great book! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This book has strong, well-developed characters and an interesting story line that keeps you turning the pages. This is a fast-paced intriguing read! A satisfying conclusion to a great series. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.

Great ending to a fun series

Wow. The 12th & final installment of the Queens of the Fae series. Gulliver & Toby desperately want to help the half-Fae create a peaceful home in the human world, but are they really prepared to do whatever it takes to help them? Meanwhile, Sophie is trapped in the HAFS institute, experiencing horrible treatments & finding a young boy who means more to her than just being a strange voice in her head. This third installment of Gulliver’s story is definitely my favorite, despite the ending being not at all what I was expecting. Let’s see without giving anything away… Even though Toby broke my heart, I love how his story ended. I love how both Gullie and Sophie’s stories played out, especially with Noah’s involvement. And that’s it. I don’t think I can say more without giving anything away. I’m sad to leave this universe, but at the same time I can’t wait to see what Michelle hits us with next.
