A dangerous voyage.

The last hope for a kingdom on the edge of destruction.

Tia O’Shea is finally going home. It’s all she’s wanted since her arrival in the strange land, and yet, leaving Lenya feels like abandoning her heart and the one who holds it. But all of Lenya is in danger.

The fire plains encroach upon their lands, destroying villages and the fae within them. Soon, there won’t be anything left of the place she’s come to love. Not without the crystals that provide the only magic the Lenyans have. The same crystals that are in short supply. The same crystals that lie in abundance across the four kingdoms on the other side of the fire plains.

To reach them, they have to find a way home. And that means traversing the violent maelstrom beyond the Vale of Storms—a voyage no sailor has ever survived and few have attempted. If they stay, they will die. If they leave, they will also likely die, but they have to try.

Tia’s family awaits her return, but Keir doesn’t want to let her go. And the fae of Lenya hope their leaders can conquer the storm and reach the foreign shores in time. Because that’s all they have left.

Hope.

About the Author

I'm a USA Today Bestselling author of fantasy, contemporary romance, and romantic comedies. Fantasy was my first and forever love with the bestselling "Golden Curse". I love taking old stories and turning them around until they're almost unrecognizable except to the most avid fans. I write books to challenge myself, tackling hard topics or places so different from my own. Studying ancient cultures, architecture, and folklore is one of the best parts of being an author.I've written more than seventy stories full of magic, love, and friendship, and at thirty-three, have no plans to ever stop.

Get ready for some tears...

This book was truly emotional roller coaster. The hardships, the laughs, the love, the loss, and the utter heartbreak. I honestly don't remember that last time a book had me crying this much. I never felt so the "emotional damage" so whole heartly. Michelle and Melissa have crafted an absolute pull on your heart strings book. Tia, Keir, Gully, and Eavha all hold a special place in my right there with the O'Shea brothers, Brea, and Myles. Also, I just want to say I love Loch as a dad. The conversation that Loch has with Keir had me dying with laughter, poor Keir he was so confused by Loch responses, now that is a dad that knows his daughter. Lastly, I hope that the ones that suffered losses in this book please give me the relief of giving them happiness in the next, I can't have that sadness on my soul.

Amazing End to Tia’s Trilogy!!

Fae’s Return had me anticipating another great book in the series but I wasn’t prepared for what was to come.

Through hardship and struggle comes motivation to unite forces through great perils. Be prepared that not everyone will make it through this journey. But for those who do not, they will be remembered.

I was expecting this book to be the end of Tierney’s journey and the end of what would be to come but alas, there is more. And of course there’s a cliffhanger, which made me start screaming at my phone like a mad person.

This story is absolutely incredible, like all of the rest of Michelle Macqueen’s stories. I haven’t found a story of hers I haven’t liked. I was so eager to read this book, I had it downloaded a minute after seeing the email. It’s a must read, there’s a lot of plot points that get uncovered in this book, a lot of questions that get answers. I am thrilled there is more to come but cliffhangers always make me antsy to know more.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great read

Such an exciting conclusion to the last book. So many twists and turns that I didn’t expect. The witty banter between characters is hilarious. Such great worlbuilding tactics from this authorthat it makes the kingdoms very interesting.
After loosing the last ship that was meant to carry Tia & Gully home they almost lost hope of ever making it home. Our group wasn't to be deterred from achieving their goal. Kear was proving to be a very useful addition to their group. He picked up on something that gave them another lead. As our group of travelers made their jourbey across the burning lands they would face terror of the sea, heartache, hope and destiney. But Kear was in love with Tia and had to find a way they could remain together. First he feared meeting Tia's parents and convincing them to help with the crystals. So many goals to be accomplished in this one.

Incredible tale of love, hope, and heartbreak

With the fire plains closing in and the great ship meant to save them all burned to a crisp, all hope seems lost on Tia, Gully, and Veren ever reaching home, let alone bringing help to save Lenya. In a last-ditch effort, Keir recruits a daring captain, his daughter, and a handful of crew hands to carry a small delegation across the vale of storms, hoping they all make it through unchartered territories alive. But the seas prove as rough as their reputation and only five make it through alive. When at last they reach the barren frozen lands of Iskalt, their new mission is against time, to save not only Lenya, but all of the four kingdoms as well. In a race against time, and the little remaining magic in Lenya, the twins, along with their friends and family, have the fight of their lives ahead of them. And not everyone makes it through.

This was a riveting addition to the Queens of the Fae series, one of the best. It's a journey full of hope, love, and heartbreak. One of the little things that I loved was a tip to help relieve nausea, which I read while nauseous, which helped both Keir and myself. I can't wait to see what comes after that cliffhanger, I really expected to be saying goodbye to these characters. And for the record, I will never forgive them for what they did to Toby.
